Nel PTR di WoW spazio a dei nuovi bilanciamenti per il Monk
PTR WoW e Classic – Annunciate modifiche per tutte le versioni di World of Warcraft nel corso della notte, ad iniziare dal retail di Shadowlands fino ad arrivare a WoW Classic e Classic TBC.
Da poche ore è infatti online la nuova beta della Season Mastery di WoW Classic, evento che permetterà a tutti i giocatori di riprovare le emozioni e l’esperienza di gioco a partire dal livello 1 (troverete qui altri dettagli riguardo alla Season Mastery).
Nel corso della prima settimana di Open Beta, sarà possibile portare i propri personaggi fino al livello 30, e saranno attivi sia il PvP Honor System che il celebre battleground di Warsong Gulch; per quanto riguarda il bonus esperienza garantito dalle missioni, i devs hanno spiegato che questo ammonterà al 25% in più del normale, garantendo quindi un leveling più veloce rispetto a quanto siamo abituati sulla versione Classica di WoW.
Moltissime inoltre le novità che saranno presto aggiunte alla Season Mastery, tra queste anche un aumento della salute per i boss del raid, le meccaniche degli encounter completamente ripristinate alla loro versione originale, la rimozione dei World Buff proprio dai raid e dei nuovi bilanciamenti per ridurre il fenomeno del boosting (grazie al quale i giocatori con personaggi di livello più basso vengono scortati da altri di livello più alto per racimolare più rapidamente l’esperienza data dall’eliminazione di boss e creature) o del powerleveling.
Per quanto riguarda invece il PTR, e quindi la patch 9.1.5 della versione retail, si segnala una modifica che dovrebbe migliorare la funzionalità del tooltip di Spirit Link Totem della classe Shaman, ed anche una serie di modifiche dirette al Monk ed alle sue tre specializzazioni Brewmaster, Mistweaver e WindWalker (e la loro abilità dei Venthyr Crane Fallen Order).
Tra i vari bilanciamenti al Monk, notiamo ad esempio l’aumento del danno del 200% per i Tiger Adept dell’abilità Tiger Palm. Inoltre, mentre sono attivi i Tiger Adept, sia il Monaco che tutti i suoi alleati guadagneranno il 5% della velocità dei movimenti (l’effetto andrà a sommarsi ad eventuali altri buff alla velocità).

Note Classic
As outlined in our Season of Mastery blog post 236, there are a number of changes coming in this new Season of WoW Classic. In this Beta, testers can expect to experience the following today and over the next several weeks:
Week 1 of open Beta (October 5)
- Player Levels will be capped at 30.
- Character templates will not be available.
- The Rate of XP gain from Quest turn-ins has been increased by 25% globally.
- Mining and Herbalism Node availability is increased.
- The PvP Honor System is enabled.
- Warsong Gulch is enabled.
We plan to make incremental additions to the Beta server(s) each week. The following planned Seasonal changes are not yet active in the Season of Mastery Beta. These adjustments and others will become active in future Beta updates over the coming weeks:
- Increased Debuff and Buff limits.
- Increased health for raid bosses.
- Restored raid boss mechanics.
- Removal of world buffs in raid instances.
- Meeting Stones converted to Summoning Stones.
- Adjustments to curtail powerleveling and boosting.
Our focus for testing this week is leveling speed and flow. With future Season of Mastery Beta updates, we’ll continue to summarize the gameplay areas that we’d like to focus feedback and bug reports on during the Beta testing period.
- The latest test versions of World of Warcraft include new code and data related to forthcoming improvements to our methods and systems for handling player misbehavior. This does not include anything testable at this time.

Here are the notes for this week’s PTR WoW update:
Allied Races WoW PTR
- Male Nightborne can now customize their hands with a glow effect.
- Developers’ note: The PTR character copy may result in characters looking different while we work to hook up the new customizations.
- Fixed an issue with the mouths on several male Nightborne face options.
Classes – WoW PTR
- Monk
- Fallen Order (Venthyr Ability) now spawns an equal amount of off-spec Adepts (was random) and Adepts now apply Mystic Touch to their targets.
- Ox Adepts now throw a Fallen Brew at the Monk after spawning, granting the Monk an absorb shield for 10% of the Monk’s maximum health for 8 seconds.
- Tiger Adept’s Tiger Palm damage increased by 200%.
- Tiger Adepts now cast Spinning Crane Kick if there are more than 1 enemy within range.
- While Tiger Adepts are active, the Monk and their allies gain 5% movement speed, stacking with other movement speed increasing effects such as the Monk’s Windwalking.
- Brewmaster
- Ox Adept’s Breath of Fire damage reduction from Fallen Order (Venthyr Ability) now stacks with your Breath of Fire damage reduction.
- Crane Adepts from Fallen Order (Venthyr Ability) now prefer to heal the Monk over other friendly targets.
- Mistweaver
- Crane Adept’s Enveloping Mist from Fallen Order (Venthyr Ability) no longer gains cooldown reduction from the Monk’s Haste.
- Windwalker
- Tiger Adepts attacks from Fallen Order (Venthyr Ability) now count towards your recently attacked Spinning Crane Kick bonus.
- Crane Adepts from Fallen Order (Venthyr Ability) now prefer to heal the Monk over other friendly targets.
- Fallen Order (Venthyr Ability) now spawns an equal amount of off-spec Adepts (was random) and Adepts now apply Mystic Touch to their targets.
- Shaman
- Restoration
- Spirit Link Totem’s tooltip has been updated to better match its functionality. No functional change has been made to Spirit Link Totem.

Threads of Fate
- Tal-Inara now offers a Torghast, Tower of the Damned daily quest for experience and Soul Ash.
- Increased the amount of experience points earned from completing Torghast, Tower of the Damned side objectives and defeating the end of the run boss.
- The daily quest now requires completing Torghast, Tower of the Damned once (was 2 times).
User Interface and Accessibility
- Enemy and boss dialogue options have been added to Text to Speech settings.
- A helptip has been added to highlight the Reagent Bank.

- Sanctum of Domination
- Fixed an issue where Highlord Bolvar Fordragon’s dialogue would sometimes not start if players were not in close proximity to him after defeating Kel’Thuzad.
WoW Classic
- Fixed an issue where Guild Tabards weren’t displaying textures.
- Fixed an issue where the “Useable Items” checkbox in the Auction House was not correctly filtering items that taught spells, such as tradeskill recipes.
