La Season 4 di Warzone introduce tanti BUFF/NERF: vediamo cosa cambia nel meta!

Warzone BUFF & NERF ArmiI devs di Warzone avevano promesso un aggiornamento “corposo” per la Season 4, e cosi effettivamente è stato.

Da pochi minuti i giocatori stanno godendo delle tante aggiunte di cui abbiamo parlato in un precedente speciale (lo troverete qui), anche se le novità della Season 4 non si limitano solo a queste. Con la nuova patch è stata infatti introdotta anche una lunghissima lista di interventi alle armi, tra buff e nerf.

Per rendere più semplice la consultazione, visto l’elevatissimo numero di fix, andremo ad elencare di seguito le armi che hanno ricevuto dei Nerf (e quindi dei peggioramenti) o dei Buff (e quindi dei miglioramenti). Dopo questa rapida panoramica, andremo a vedere quali altri item sono stati bilanciati (su tutti, i PERK), per poi riportare integralmente la lunga lista con tutti i bilanciamenti.

Iniziamo dalle armi, e soprattutto da quelle che hanno ricevuto un buff più o meno “sostanzioso”:

  • AS44, BAR, Cooper Carbine, Itra Burst, Nikita AVT, KGM40, FFAR, Whitley, Type 11, MG42, Armaguerra, MAC10, STEN, PPSH41, SVT40, M1 Garand, e quasi tutti i Lanciatori (RPG-7, Panzerfaust e altri)

Per alcune di queste armi si segnalano cambiamenti molto significativi. Pensiamo ad esempio alla STEN, al NIKITA o allo stesso BAR. Per altre armi come la PPSH invece si segnalano modifiche minori, che dovrebbero comunque generare un impatto positivo sul gameplay dell’arma.

Le armi nerfate, e quelle solo leggermente “ritoccate” 

A questo gruppetto andrebbe anche inserito l’AK47, che vede il suo Sustained Recoil leggermente aumentato. Non appena possibile, saremo in grado di valutare quanto “importante” sarà questo cambiamento per il fucile.

Veniamo ora alle armi che hanno invece dovuto registrare un nerf, lieve o pesante che sia. Vengono quindi nerfate:

  • NZ41 (nerf lievissimo, che ci concentra in particolare su alcuni suoi allegati), STG44, H4 Blixen, Owen, Type 100 e Welgun

Le modifiche ai perk ed agli equipaggiamenti

Si segnala il nerf alle granate Snapshot (che ora prendono i bersagli entro i 22 metri invece dei 27 precedenti), ed un sostanziale buff al perk Battle Hardened (Esperto Navigato). Questa specialità garantirà una resistenza agli effetti delle stun e delle flash del 70% (il 30% in più rispetto a prima).

Perk Adjustments

  • Battle Hardened
    • Stun and flash resistance increased to 70%, up from 40%

With our push for stronger counterplay opportunities, there were clear gains to be had with a buff here.

  • Scavenger 
    • Awards an additional $500 in the scavenger pouch with each kill.
  • Hardline
    • Provides a 25% discount on all Buy Station items, including Loadout Drop Markers.

Previous Adjustments

    • Recharge Time increased to 30 seconds, up from 25 seconds.
  • Radar Jammer
    • Reduced drop rate chances in Rebirth Resurgence and Fortune’s Keep.

Melee

Melee Weapons were often falling short of a straight up engagement in cqc, in addition their movement speeds were no longer competitive with some of the faster and more aggressive Weapon builds. As a result many Melee Weapons have had their swing time (the time it takes to swing the weapon in succession) and movement speed adjusted positively.

Metaphor Warzone – Al termine della scorsa settimana una notizia ha letteralmente gelato parte della community di Call of Duty, relativa ad un presunto ban ai danni del celebre Metaphor.

Metaphor è indubbiamente uno dei content creator più seguiti al mondo. Giocatore superlativo, ottimo “tecnico” per consigli e suggerimenti, Metaphor si è ormai ritagliato un’enorme fetta di estimatori nella community globale.

Durante lo scorso Sabato Metaphor ha però pubblicato un singolare video, all’interno del quale annunciava di essere stato bannato dal celebre BR Activision.

Ovviamente Metaphor non è un cheater, e deve essere accaduto qualcosa che non sarebbe mai dovuto accadere. Il Content creator ha quindi deciso di pubblicare un secondo video, durante il quale ha spiegato passo passo quali sono le “decisioni” e le scelte di gameplay che lo hanno portato ad agire come ha agito. Dimostrando di non aver alcun bisogno di cheat o wallhack per identificare e colpire i bersagli.

In più occasioni abbiamo ribadito che un occhio esperto è in grado di riconoscere un vero cheater da un giocatore semplicemente “sopra la media”.

La cosa che però in questo caso ci colpisce maggiormente è che anche il sistema anti-cheat può evidentemente commettere degli errori.

Non è la prima volta che un PRO viene “bannato” per errore, e di certo non sarà l’ultima. La domanda però sorge spontanea: e se un giocatore non fosse famoso o seguito? Riceverebbe lo stesso trattamento dei devs?

Già perchè la situazione si è (fortunatamente) risolta con i devs di Activision che hanno “manualmente” provveduto a sbloccare Metaphor, allegando anche delle scuse su Twitter per l’accaduto.

Ci auguriamo che questo tipo di situazioni non si verifichino troppe volte ai danni dei giocatori “normali”.

UMG8 Loadout – Benvenuti in un nuovo speciale interamente dedicato alle migliori versioni delle armi disponibili su Warzone.

In questo update faremo da cassa di risonanza all’analisi del meta proposta da TrueGameData, certamente uno degli analyst più apprezzati e conosciuti nella scena del BR Activision. Secondo TGD infatti, al momento la situazione sul fronte delle armi sarebbe molto diversa rispetto a quanto la maggior parte delle persone potrebbe immaginare.

TGD è convinto che al momento la migliore delle versioni a disposizione dei giocatori sia proprio la UMG8, la nuova LMG introdotta con la quarta stagione. Insieme a lei anche la Bruen, arma di cui infatti abbiamo più volte parlato in passato, ma anche la Whitley, la Cooper Carbine ed ovviamente anche l’NZ41.

Proprio la Whitley e la UMG8 sembrerebbero caratterizzate da una competitività che non trova eguali al momento tra le altre armi di Vanguard.

Anche il celebre Cloakzy è tra i giocatori convinti della forza della nuova UMG8, e con un nuovo video ha voluto svelare proprio quella che ritiene al momento la migliore versione da giocare.

Skill GapAlcuni mesi fa gli sviluppatori di Activision resero note le loro intenzioni di andare a favorire un più deciso skill gap nelle partite di Warzone. Per “favorire lo skill gap” si intendono tutta una serie di misure affinché il gioco vada a premiare il giocatore più forte, e non quello più fortunato.

Una delle modifiche più significative riguardo allo “skill gap” è stata certamente quella di alzare la vita di tutti gli operatori di 50 punti. Aumentando la vita dei personaggi (e quindi il TTK delle armi), si sarebbero dovuti andare a favorire i giocatori più bravi nel movement e quelli più precisi a livello di tecnica di sparo.

Secondo IceManIsaac però, i risultati dell’operato dei devs sarebbero molto distanti da quelli sperati. Ice ha infatti affermato che i recenti buff a molte armi, e gli speculari nerf alle Stim ed al bonus di movimento di alcuni allegati hanno in realtà ridotto lo skill gap, l’esatto opposto di quello che sarebbe dovuto essere il piano dei devs.

Effettivamente se si osserva anche il TTK attuale delle armi, appare chiaro che queste sparino con molta più forza rispetto a prima. Questo perchè il ttk è praticamente lo stesso, ma tutti gli operatori hanno più vita rispetto al passato.

Il rinculo è troppo “lieve” su Warzone

Sempre secondo IceManIsaac c’è poi un’altra questione che andrebbe presto affrontata dai devs. Secondo l’esperto content creator il rinculo sarebbe troppo poco incisivo nel gioco, fattore questo che non aiuta i giocatori migliori a distinguersi da tutti gli altri.

Stiamo costruendo uno skill gap o no?” ha concluso in modo retorico il post IceManIsaac, che ha quindi rilanciato la “palla” ai devs sull’argomento.

Vedremo cosa risponderanno da Activision, in attesa di scoprire se c’è stato qualche cambiamento sulla questione Skill Gap di Warzone.
