Shadowlands: ultime novità (e chiarimenti) sulla nuova espansione di WOW
WoW Espansione – Mancano ormai pochi giorni prima dell’attesissimo inizio di Shadowlands, nuova ed attesa espansione dell’universo di World of Warcraft con il compito di rilanciare, ancora una volta e dopo più di un decennio di vita, il celebre MMORPG targato Blizzard.
In questo speciale andremo a scoprire quali sono tutti gli ultimi aggiornamenti imperdibili, i chiarimenti, ed alcuni punti di vista dei devs estrapolati dai loro account social.
Hazzikostas sul primo Reset
Partiamo da una prima importantissima notizia che riguarda il mondo competitivo: il Game Director Ion Hazzikostas ha infatti confermato che le spedizioni mitiche, Torghast, e la prima Renown quest settimanale saranno disponibili a partire dal primo reset dei server, che avverrà poco dopo il lancio dell’espansione, cosi da azzerare qualsiasi tipo di vantaggio tra i giocatori dei vari server.
Mythic dungeons, Torghast, and the first weekly Renown quest (gather 1000 Anima) all become available with the first reset very shortly after launch. This way all regions have a level playing field, and people aren't missing out on a full weekly lockout if they don't rush to 60.

Spedizioni mitiche più difficili:
Oltre a questo si segnala il fatto che al momento le le spedizioni mitiche sono più difficili rispetto a quanto non lo fossero prima.
Blizzard ha infatti spiegato che ha cambiato lo “scaling modifier” nella pre-patch di Shadowlands, portando il modificatore a 1.065 per compensare la rimozione del sistema di corruzione. Con l’ultimo aggiornamento però, ovvero con la 9.0.2, il modificatore è stato aumentato a 1.08, motivo per cui i dungeon mitici sono più difficili da completare questa settimana.
Il Jailer è o non è il boss finale?
Un altro interessante aspetto è invece legato alla storia dietro Shadowlands, ed in particolare a quello che potrebbe essere l’ultimo boss dell’espansione. Secondo quanto riferito dall’Assistant Lead Quest Designer Johnny Cash e dall’Art Director Ely Cannon in un’intervista pubblicata su VG247, le cose potrebbero non essere cosi semplici come molti utenti e giocatori credono.
Il Jailer infatti, principale villain che abbiamo visto e rivisto in trailer e cinematic dedicati all’espansione, non è assolutamente detto che sia anche l’ultimo boss del raid finale di Shadowlands e bisognerà aspettare per scoprire chi andrà ad occupare questo fondamentale ruolo.

- After Shadowlands launches, there will not be a new set of Battle for Azeroth weekly chests that correspond with the current week of activities (November 17-23). Loot your final Battle for Azeroth weekly chests now!
- Resolved an issue that caused some helms to hide Draenei female horns.
Player versus Player
- Corrected an issue that caused Arena and Rated Battleground matches played during the Battle for Azeroth post-season to count towards some Shadowlands Seasonal achievements.
Quests
- Killing the Frightened Provincial Minuteman during “Ace in the Hole” will once again summon a val’kyr to raise them as Forsaken.
