Shadowlands ALFA: dal chiarimento sui controller alle modifiche alle abilità AOE
Shadowlands ALFA – Nelle ultime ore sono state tantissime le novità e gli interessanti aggiornamenti che riguardano la nuova espansione di World of Warcraft Shadowlands.
In questo articolo abbiamo voluto raccogliere tutte le informazioni più importanti cercando di non dimenticare nessuna delle modifiche, delle aggiunte o delle novità che sono in questo momento già disponibili nella prima “Alfa” ufficiale dell’espansione.
La prima grande novità riguarda il sistema delle abilità AOE, ovvero quelle che possono contemporaneamente colpire più bersagli. I devs hanno infatti spiegato che con Shadowlands le abilità avranno un limite di bersagli che potranno colpire, e che quelle che invece non avranno limiti di questo tipo vedranno diminuire l’effetto di cure o danni all’aumentare del numero di personaggi colpiti.
Una modifica radicale per le abilità AOE, che sicuramente genererà non poco malcontento tra i giocatori di WOW, da sempre abituati a spammare cure e danni “ad area” sapendo di non aver alcun limite alle proprie potenzialità.
Oltre a questo, nell’Alfa di Shadowlands si segnala anche che:
- I Demon Hunter ed i Death Knights partiranno in Shadowlands dal livello 8 e non dal 10, come per tutte le altre classi disponibili.
- La possibilità di volare (ovvero l’expert riding) sarà disponibile con Shadowlands a partire dal livello 25 mentre l’Artisan e la Master Riding (rispettivamente, velocità aumentata del 280% e del 310%) saranno acquistabili con 4.750 gold a partire dai livelli 27 e 30.
- Quando moriremo vedremo un effetto diverso rispetto al passato. Se una volta morti vedevamo tutto in bianco e nero, questa volta vedremo tutto sfocato come mostrato nella figura (#1) sotto.
- Un importante chiarimento è anche giunto sulla questione controller, accennata anche ieri in un altro articolo. I devs hanno spiegato che vogliono rendere il più accessibile possibile WoW, e che attraverso un lavoro specifico vogliono sostanzialmente replicare e migliorare il lavoro svolto in passato da alcuni add-on, utili proprio a permettere ai giocatori di poter girare su Azeroth al comando di un Joypad (i devs hanno fatto l’esempio di quello della Xbox).
- I pezzi leggendari saranno fabbricati a Torghast, dallo stesso personaggio che ha creato Frostmourne e alcuni altri celebri pezzi di questo tipo.
- Non ci sarà il Master Loot ne abilità come war/titanforging o la corruzione degli oggetti.

Current Content Testing
- The world and leveling content being tested is: Bastion. Check out our preview of the Kyrian Covenant 23.
- Please use the in-game bug report tool for bugs, and post your feedback on this zone in the Shadowlands Alpha Leveling, Questing, and World forum.
- Please post Kyrian Covenant feedback in this dedicated thread in the Shadowlands Classes and Covenants forum.
- The level cap is currently: 53. You cannot level a test character higher than this at this time.
- The dungeon being tested is: The Necrotic Wake. Please use the in-game bug report tool for bugs, and post your feedback on this dungeon in the Shadowlands Alpha Dungeons and Raids forum 13.
- The new starting experience is now available to level 1 Alliance characters. Read more about it here 7, and please post feedback on the new starting expeirence here 4.
- Class Changes
- All classes are undergoing major updates. Please read the class summary blog post 48, and place your focused feedback in one of the dedicated threads in the Shadowlands Alpha Classes and Covenants forum:
Work in Progress

- Allied Races are not available for character creation.
- The new starting experience can only be tested by level 1 Alliance characters.
