Come riportato via Twitter il prossimo Mythic Championship VII si terrà ai Thunder Studio di Long Beach e sarà dedicato al formato Bo3 Standard. Sempre nello stesso Tweet riportato direttamente dall’account ufficiale @magicesport vengono riportate anche le date del Qualifier ufficiale: Ottobre 26-27.

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
The format for Mythic Championship VII is Traditional Best-of-Three Standard Constructed across all three days of competition.
Day 1 – Modified Swiss
64 players battle it out in up to seven rounds on Magic: The Gathering Arena and 24 players will advance to Day 2. Players who earn five wins will automatically advance to Day 2. Players who lose four matches are eliminated from the tournament. Players who end Round 7 with four wins will move on to Day 2 based on their Day 1 tiebreakers until 24 players have advanced.
Day 2 – Modified Swiss
The Top 24 from Day 1 join the Magic Pro League divisional champions from the Core Split in a seven-round Swiss event. All players who reach five match wins move on to Day 3. Additional players will round out the Top 8 for Day 3 based on their tiebreakers in Day 2.
Day 3 – Top 8 Double-Elimination
8 players compete in a true double-elimination tournament. In the grand finals, the winners in the Upper Bracket and Lower Bracket will face off. The player in the Lower Bracket must win two matches to win the tournament!

MYTHIC POINTS
Players will receive Mythic Points for the 2019 season based on their finish in this event.
HOW CAN I PLAY IN AN MTG ARENA MYTHIC CHAMPIONSHIP?
Players can qualify for Mythic Championships featuring Magic: The Gathering Arena by finishing in the Top 16 of the two-day Mythic Championship Qualifier Weekend. Mythic Championship VII Qualifier Weekend takes place October 26-27, with ranked play in Magic: The Gathering Arena from August and September contributing to that event. More details will be posted in the coming weeks.
