Jumpstart: Historic Horizons arriva il 12 agosto su MTG Arena. In questa espansione ci sono centinaia di carte provenienti da Modern Horizons, Modern Horizons 2 e 31 carte inedite pensate per MTG Arena.

Esattamente come con la versione originale di Jumpstart su MTG Arena, ci sarà un evento in cui si potrà scegliere tra buste tematizzate per costruire un mazzo per giocare. Le buste di Jumpstart: Historic Horizons saranno particolari poichè alcune carte della stessa busta tematizzata varieranno, non solo nelle carte rare, come quelle della prima Jumpstart, ma anche nelle comuni e non comuni. 

In questo articolo, trovate le liste delle 46 buste tematizzate di Jumpstart: Historic Horizons e sotto ogni lista le possibili variazioni con tanto di possibilità che si hanno di trovare determinate carte.

Le tabelle, che mostrano le possibilità che hanno le varie carte di apparire nelle buste, indicano:

  • prima colonna: la carta riportata originariamente nella lista
  • seconda colonna: la possibilità che la carta riportata originariamente nella lista ha di apparire nella busta
  • tutte le altre colonne: le carte trovabili in alternativa e le loro possibilità di apparire nella busta
  • leggendo la tabella per righe si hanno tutte le alternative ad una determinata carta e le relative possibilità di essere trovate
  • le carte che appaiono nella lista, ma non nella tabella sottostante ad essa hanno il 100% di possibilità di essere trovate e sono, quindi, garantite.

Ogni lista è priva di terre base poichè per l’evento di Jumpstart: Historic Horizons, MTG Arena aggiungerà in automatico le terre base al mazzo in base alle 2 buste scelte ed alla curva di mana che il mazzo avrà. Inoltre, saranno aggiunte automaticamente anche delle terre non base: le buste monocolore daranno una terra con ciclo di Historic Anthology 2, mentre le multicolore una terra bicolore comune di Core Set 2020.   

Nel caso in cui non si abbiano in collezione queste terre, esse saranno aggiunte alla collezione assieme a tutte le altre carte sbustate.

Ogni busta contiene esattamente 20 carte, incluse le terre che vengono aggiunte al momento della costruzione del mazzo.

Come funziona la scelta delle buste nell’evento di Jumpstart: Historic Horizons

Prima di vedere insieme tutte le liste delle 46 buste, chiariamo, anche per chi non ha giocato l’evento del primo Jumpstart, come funziona la scelta delle 2 buste necessarie a giocare l’evento di Jumpstart: Historic Horizons.

Jumpstart: Historic Horizons presenterà 3 diverse buste e tra queste bisognerà sceglierne una. Ogni busta ha la stessa probabilità di apparire rispetto alle altre. Tuttavia, se si è già partecipato in precedenza a questo evento, le buste già scelte non appariranno come possibili opzioni, a meno che non si abbia già aperto almeno una volta ognuna delle 46 buste.

La scelta della seconda busta è condizionata da quella della prima busta. Ciò significa che se abbiamo scelto una busta monocolore come nostra prima busta, le opzioni di scelta per la seconda busta saranno solo buste monocolore (di un colore diverso da quello della prima busta) e/o buste bicolore, di combinazioni che includono il colore della busta già scelta. Allo stesso modo, se la nostra prima scelta è una busta bicolore, le opzione per la seconda busta saranno buste monocolore (di colori inclusi nella combinazione di colori della prima busta) e/o altre buste della stessa combinazione di colori. In questo modo, è garantito che non si abbia un mazzo con più di 2 colori.

C’è una sola eccezione a quanto appena detto: la busta 5 colori. Questa può apparire come opzione, sia come prima che come seconda scelta, e non è influenzata dalla prima scelta se appare come opzione per la seconda busta.

Benvenuti, oggi vogliamo parlarvi del torneo Standard Challenge Tournament di Magic Arena che si terrà nella giornata del 24 settembre, su ReadyCheck.gg, se volete partecipare vi basterà cliccare qui per andare alla pagina di iscrizione.

Come intuibile dal titolo l’evento sarà in standard in BO3. L’iscrizione è totalmente gratuita e ci sarà un montepremi di €50 per il vincitore. Su ready check troverete tutto il regolamento nel caso in cui aveste ulteriori dubbi.

Per il torneo è inoltre necessario essere sul canale discord di MTGdailychallenge al quale potrete accedere cliccando qui. Non mi resta quindi che augurarvi buona fortuna per il torneo.

Ciao a tutti, io sono Cloud, conosciuto anche in game come XS0ulBlackX, e oggi vedremo una guida dettagliata ai formati di  MTGArena in modo da darvi le giuste conoscenze per orientarvi nel vastissimo mondo di Magic the Gathering.

Come (penso) sapete tutti, MTGArena è suddiviso in formati che sono sostanzialmente dei modi di giocare, ognuno con le proprie regole che ci danno la possibilità di esplorare ogni angolo del gioco a loro modo.

Prima di continuare  voglio ricordarvi che, se volete essere sempre aggiornati sui miei articoli, o per farvi qualche partita con la nostra community potete entrare in questo server discord. Auguro a tutti Buona lettura!

Guida ai formati di MTGArena

In MTGArena purtroppo, non sono presenti tutti i formati di Magic the Gathering, ma “solamente” 4 , ed essi sono:

  • Standard
  • Alchemy
  • Historic
  • Explorer

Partendo dallo Standard, esso è il formato (insieme all’Alchemy che vedremo dopo) che subisce più evoluzione di tutti in quanto è un formato rotante, e quindi periodicamente (una volta l’anno) vengono tolte dal formato tutte le carte che appartengono alle ultime 4 espansioni più datate. Quest’anno il regolamento standard ha subito una modifica che sta impattando e impatterà molto nel modo di giocare il formato in futuro, ovvero un prolungamento di un anno della rotazione. Cosa significa tutto ciò?

Partendo dal presupposto che lo standard adesso è composto da queste espansioni (partendo dalla più vecchia presente nel formato): Innistrad Midnight Hunt, Innistrad Crimson Vow, Kamigawa Neon Dynasty, Streets of New Capenna, Dominaria United, The Brother’s War, Phyrexia All Will Be One, March of the Machines e March of the Machines the Aftermath ( che sarebbe la stessa espansione con circa 40 carte aggiuntive), esso avrebbe dovuto eliminare le prime 4 dal proprio formato a Settembre 2023, con questo prolungamento della rotazione quindi queste espansioni non saranno più disponibili in Standard a partire da Settembre 2024.

Il formato Alchemy è un formato basato sullo Standard ma che include al suo interno carte inedite, comunemente dette digital only, e ribilanciamenti delle carte presenti in Standard, in modo da rendere la giocabilità del formato più frizzantina.

Essendo basato su quest’ultimo, anche Alchemy subisce una rotazione annua che però non ha subito un prolungamento come lo Standard, quindi le 4 espansioni più vecchie menzionate prima non saranno più giocabili a partire da Settembre 2023. Questo ovviamente potrebbe dare una bella ventata di aria fresca al formato e renderlo ancora più divertente rispetto a quanto non lo sia già ora.

Historic invece è il formato più vasto di MTGArena, non essendo rotante in questo formato possiamo giocare quasi tutta la pool di carte del gioco, comprese le carte Alchemy e i ribilanciamenti effettuati alle carte Standard. E’ sicuramente la scelta più interessante per chi come me ha la voglia di sperimentare sempre sinergie nuove, unendo carte fuori di testa del passato insieme alle carte più recenti di Alchemy e dello Standard, potrete veramente sbizzarrirvi per creare il vostro mazzo preferito.

Per ultimo, ma non per importanza, vediamo l’Explorer. Come l’Historic si propone come formato eterno e quindi esente dalle rotazioni, e in esso potremo giocare tutte le carte presenti passate e future che hanno composto o compongono lo standard. Non essendo presenti carte ribilanciate o only digital, avremo modo di sperimentare meno rispetto all’Historic, ma ciò non toglie il divertimento al formato che secondo me ha ancora molto da dire.

Ciao a tutti, io sono Cloud, conosciuto anche in game come XS0ulBlackX, e oggi vedremo una guida dettagliata all’economia di MTGArena in modo da farvi partire tutti con il piede giusto in questa nuova ( forse) avventura nel card game più conosciuto al mondo.

Per poter iniziare al meglio in questa avventura, sarà necessario riscattare dei codici per poter ottenere pacchetti aggiuntivi, una volta completato il tutorial iniziale. Questi codici, vi permetteranno di acquisire le wildcards necessarie per poter fare almeno uno dei mazzi che vi consiglierò qua sotto. I codici per essere riscattati andranno copiati e incollati, andando nella sezione negozio, e poi in seguito in  alto a destra nella sezione riscatta codice per inserire quest’ultimo e appunto riscattarlo. Guida all’economia di MTGArena

Per poter avviare bene la vostra avventura sarà necessario, almeno all’inizio, farmare un po’ di monete che serviranno per poter fare i vostri primi eventi in best of one. I mazzi che vi proporrò in seguito, sono tutti mazzi in grado di far risultato ( se giocati bene) e di arrivare ad almeno 4 vittorie in modo da trasformare le monete accumulate, facendo le missioni giornaliere, in gemme e pacchetti.

Aprendo i pacchetti acquisiti negli eventi potrete ottenere carte e wildcards. Queste ultime vi permetteranno di prendere le carte che volete, indipendentemente da quello che trovate nei pacchetti, in modo da completare o craftare da zero il vostro mazzo preferito. Gli eventi potrete trovarli cliccando sul tasto gioca nella schermata principale, e poi andando in sezione eventi e scegliere l’evento best of one che più preferite tra historic, alchemy, standard e explorer.

Il primo mazzo, ovvero izzet spells è il più difficile tra i quattro, è un mazzo spell-based che sfrutta l’interazione tra Third Path Iconoclast e gli istantanei e stregonerie per generare una gran quantità di pedine 1/1. Le finisher del mazzo saranno il Tolarian Terror, un 7 mana 5/5 che costerà 1 in meno per ogni istantaneo e stregoneria nel vostro cimitero e Gandalf’s Sanction, una stregoneria che farà X danni a una creatura pari al numero di istantanei e stregonerie contenute nel vostro cimitero e il danno in eccesso al controllore della creatura al quale è stato inflitto danno.

Izzet Wizards, mazzo per eccellenza dell’historic Bo1, è come il precedente un mazzo spell based che sfrutterà l’interazione tra le vostre creature e i vostri istantanei e stregonerie per travolgere in un turbine di danno il vostro avversario. Degna di nota è ovviamente l’interazione tra la Symmetry Sage e il Dreadhorde Arcanist, che vi aiuterà a chiudere in fretta la partita grazie alla possibilità di rifare le spell dal cimitero.

Boros Heroic invece è un mazzo che si basa sull’aumentare le statistiche dei vostri pezzi ( e anche di proteggerli) in campo attraverso degli istantanei e stregonerie. Attraverso aumenti di statistiche e la possibilità di dare travolgere ai pezzi, potrete chiudere in fretta la partita e rendere il vostro Illuminator Virtuoso letteralmente un carro armato.

Mono red Aggro, mazzo di punta del Bo1 in Standard, è un aggro deck che avrà come wincon principale la velocità. Quasi tutti i vostri pezzi avranno rapidità e potranno attaccare nel turno in cui vengono giocati. Attraverso lightning strike, play with fire e invasion of regatha infine potrete infliggere i rimanenti danni al vostro avversario.

Conclusione

Fatemi sapere cosa ne pensate di questi mazzi su discord ( ricordandovi che ogni decklist presente in questo articolo è una versione budget del deck finale ma che comunque come detto prima è in grado di fare tranquillamente risultato in eventi Bo1) noi ci vediamo prossimamente con un nuovo articolo.
