Rekkles: “forse sono stato troppo avido quando ho lasciato i Fnatic”
In un recente streaming, andato in onda su Twitch, Rekkles ha parlato della sua scelta di lasciare i Fnatic nel 2014 e nel 2020. Il tiratore svedese non si è pentito di ciò che ha fatto, ma ha riconosciuto una certa avidità nel suo comportamento.
Una riflessione tanto malinconica quanto realistica, che fotografa perfettamente quello che l’ex arancio-nero ha vissuto sulla sua pelle. Ora, ai Karmine Corp, affronterà un difficile viaggio in una ERL e poi in EU Masters, sperando di tornare in LEC nel 2022 sempre con i KC.

“I don’t regret any of my choices, though. With the results in hand, sure I should have done things differently, sure. But, then and there, when I made the choice to go to Elements and when I made the choice to go to G2, I think it was the right one. Or for me it was. And maybe, as I mentioned in an interview with l’Equipe the other day where I talked about this, basically maybe I was too greedy.
Because I had a really good team in Fnatic, a good organization, everything was great. And I was greedy to get potentially a little bit more, but maybe lose everything, but potentially get one or two more percent. Not worth obviously, but then and there with who I am and what I stand for, I understeand why I did that so I don’t regret any of it.

“Comunque non mi pento delle mie scelte. Con i risultati in mano, sicuramente avrei dovuto fare le cose in maniera diversa. Ma, in quel momento, quando ho scelto di andare agli Elements e quando ho scelto di andare ai G2, credo fosse la scelta giusta. O almeno lo era per me. Forse, come ho detto in una intervista che ho rilasciato all’Equipe l’altro giorno ed in cui ho parlato di questa cosa, sono stato un po’ troppo avido.
Perché avevo davvero un bel team nei Fnatic, una bella organizzazione, tutto andava per il meglio. E sono stato avido nel volere un pochino di più, e forse poi perdere tutto, ma ottenere l’uno o due percento in più. Ovviamente non ne è valsa la pena, ma in quel momento per chi sono e per cosa rappresento, capisco perché l’ho fatto e quindi non me ne pento.”
